Tasting Note: 100% Nebbiolo from 20 year old vines. Aged 24 months in French barriques, 12 months in large 30hl barrels, and a further 12 months in bottle. Ruby red hue with garnet tinges, a full nose of dark fruits and roses with tobacco, oak-spice and earthy dry flower undertones, a hint of mint and pepper. The palate is powerful and dense, with dark cherries, a slight nuttiness, smoke, earth and leather all in harmony with grand framing tannins. Seriously age-worthy.
