Tasting Note: Rhône meets Tuscany: an elegant blend of Viognier and Chardonnay from this Tuscan estate’s chalkiest terroir. Vinified and matured in old French oak to enhance its complexity. The nose is redolent of stone fruits, with a honeyed, waxy quality and hints of white pepper. The palate shows surprising restraint, with a lean, crisp and utterly refreshing finish. This release will continue to evolve, but it is showing so much aromatic complexity and beautiful structure right now it’s hard to resist. Fully organic and biodynamic.
