“One of the gems is the Vaucluse Pont des Arts Rosé, which is up there with the finest Rosés produced. It offers beautiful strawberry, wild flowers, wet stone and framboise notes in a medium-bodied, clean, impeccably balanced style that spans the gap between the lightly flavors Provencal Rosés and the richer Tavel styled Rosés. It’s going to shine on the dinner table over the coming summer months, and I suspect drink nicely even through the winter.” – Jeb Dunnuck
“Brilliant orange-pink. High-pitched red berry and blood orange aromas are complemented by suggestions of lavender and chalky minerals. Juicy and incisive on the palate, offering refreshingly bitter red currant, cherry and orange zest flavors that show excellent clarity and a vibrant mineral undertone…” – Vinous/Antonio Galloni
PONT DES ARTS is an exclusive, limited collection of wines. It is a bridge between Art and Wine, the East and West, and collectors and newcomers alike. Pont des Arts marries the best from the art world (in this case, world-renowned contemporary Spanish artist Miquel Barceló, the youngest artist ever to be exhibited at the Louvre) and the wine world. In the constant search for beauty, pleasure and quality, we are proud to introduce this unique collaboration between Pont des Arts and Chêne Bleu. Only 1500 bottles were produced.
Tasting Note: Unlike the standard release of Chêne Bleu’s Rosé, this special bottling comes from 60 year old vines on the most favourable site of the property, and is a blend of Grenache and Syrah with no accessory grapes. The wine has delicate notes of citrus and exotic fruits, with aromas of summer flowers. It is refreshing and lively, yet retains fully body, mineralogy and a long, elegant finish – the ultimate expression of the Chêne Bleu signatures that has won them international acclaim. Serve lightly chilled at 14 degrees celsius.
