“When a winery with the credentials of Cullen makes a rosé, you know it will be worth attention. This lyrically-named pink wine fulfils expectations and then some. An elegant pale-salmon in colour, the nose treads a seductive line through red berry and plummy aromas, gentle spice, herb and yeasty lees notes, with a lovely balance of fruit and savoury elements. In the mouth, it’s fresh, smooth and flavoursome with an appealing earthy, rather French accent. It finishes with quenching acidity, good structure and a very dry signature. Made from a saignée of all the red varieties grown on the Cullen vineyard.” – Ralph Kyte-Powell, The Real Review

“Rose-gold in colour. Notes of red fruits, ginger tea, dried herbs and green grass. Provençal style rosé, dry and savoury, dark spices, Italian bitters and racy acidity. Light on its feet, silken texture and long palate length, yet packs some weight on the palate. Drink 2020 to 2024.” – Amanda Yallop, The Real Review

Tasting Note: The grapes for this wine were hand harvested and fermented with natural yeast and no further additions. Created using the saignèe method from all of the red varieties grown at Cullen: this wine shows fresh aromatics combined with great texture to create a beautiful refreshing Rosé. Lush palate dominated by red fruits. Lovely notes red plum, wild strawberry and cranberry. Brilliant dry rosé for summer. Enjoy this vibrant wine chilled.
