93/100 – Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate
Tasting Notes: A thick-textured, ripe and full-bodied wine with smooth and integrated tannins, delivering mineral, black fruits, mocha expresso and some smoke without over toasted oak. An impressive balance between terroir and ripe fruit.
Winemaking: After manual selection of the best grapes on a sorting table, the grapes are crushed and destemmed before falling by gravity in our fermentation tanks; Long maceration and soft extractions help to get these both powerful and flexible features of our wines; About 40% of this wine is aged in new oak barrels for 18 months.
Varieties: 40 % Grenache noir, 40 % Syrah, 20 % Mourvèdre
Region: Chateauneuf-de-pape AOC, France
