Accolades:
5 stars – Michael Cooper

“Who says Sauvignon Blanc doesn’t age well? The 2014 vintage, now on sale, is a single-vineyard wine, based on Sauvignon Blanc and a ‘splash’ of Viognier. Tasted in late 2022, it is light gold, with a highly fragrant, complex bouquet. Weighty and rich, it has concentrated, tropical fruit flavours, oak-derived complexity, and a smooth finish. A very distinctive wine, it’s probably at its peak.” – Michael Cooper

Tasting Note:  100% coastal Waiheke single site wine. A rare blonde clay, sandy loam perched amongst steep south west coastal cliffs. Meticulous manual viticulture and organic practices ensure a unique wine of texture, poise and enduring intensity that will cellar and evolve favourably for a decade plus. This is an harmonious and distinctive expression of the “migrant” (Advenus) Sauvignon Blanc with a splash of Viognier. Drink well chilled.
