91/100 – James Suckling
17.5/20 – Raymond Chan
4 stars – Bob Campbell

“Bright, brambly appeal on the nose with redcurrant and raspberry fruits. The palate has a plush, fleshy and saturated feel to it, with succulent tannins. Drink now.” – James Suckling

Tasting Note: The wine exhibits great aromatic complexity and richness with mineral and blueberry notes leading to a savoury and spicy palate with good balance and acidity

Winemaking Notes: The grapes come from vines that are 30-40 years old, with yields of 2T/Ha and located high on the hillsides, 700-900 metres above sea level. The vineyards are mainly planted in decomposed slate and gravel/clay soils. The fermentation was carried out in small stainless steel tanks for 15 days at temperatures below 27 C and then spent a short period of two months in French oak barrels.
