“The 2010 vintage shows just how sophisticated Zweigelt can be. Matured for 15 months in French oak barriques (10 per cent new), and bottled unfined and unfiltered, it has dense, inky colour. Already deliciously drinkable, it is a sweet-fruited wine, overflowing with fresh blackcurrant, plum and spice flavours, complex, rich and rounded.” – Michael Cooper
Tasting Note: Rich dark violet in colour with flavours of ripe berries, black pepper, spices and some earthy undertones. Aromas reminiscent of a basket of ripe stone fruits, damsons, elderberries and bitter dark chocolate. A highly complex wine with great acidity, structure and velvety smooth tannins complete this powerhouse.
