Tasting Note: Wharekaka is the re reo Maori name for Martinborough, connecting to the unique land on which this Pinot Noir was grown and vinified. From a favourable vintage and treated for 9 months in oak, this Pinot Noir is made with minimal intervention with very little fining or filtration. It shows ripe red fruits and a silky-smooth, gently tannic structure. This release is already approachable, but will cellar beautifully for 5+ years.
