“The bouquet is loaded with the telltale aromas of cassis, black cherry, sage and dark chocolate. The fruit is well-balanced and provides a seemless experience on the palate. Designed to be consumed now, it will provide pleasure for the next 4-5 years. This is a truly rare Napa bargain at this relatively humble price.” – California Wine Advisors
“This wine is dark in color, with an enticing violet aroma, possibly from the 15% Petit Verdot in the mix. Spicy clove, black pepper and woody cedar form a full-bodied construct upon which a depth of tannin presides—a powerful statement that mellows in the glass. Additional notes of dried herb, cassis and currant unfold with time.” – Wine Enthusiast
Tasting Note: Method is the new project of Master Sommelier Ian Cauble (best known as a star of the SOMM film series). The diverse sources of this Cabernet Sauvignon exemplify the Napa Valley terroir. The strong, traditional bouquet layers notes of ripe black cherry, dark cassis, aromatic violets, and savoury curry spices rooted by earthy undertones. With clean fruit throughout the palate, this medium-bodied wine has well-structured tannins balanced by a nuance of toffee and caramel oak influence.
