Corners Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc 2013:

94/100 – Bob Campbell MW
94/100 – Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

Tasting Note: The wine shows concentrated gooseberry and tropical fruit aromas, complemented by subtle oak and mineral nuances. The palate is full bodied and seamless with a creamy texture derived from extended lees contact. We release our Corners Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc around 18-24 months after it is made (depending on what each season delivers) to allow it to develop and reveal these seasonal characteristics. It tends to age well. It sees some good quality oak, both seasoned and a small portion of new, and the wine speaks gently, reverently of the vineyard site.

Alcohol: 13.5%

Trig Hill Pinot Gris 2014:

5 stars – Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
5 stars – Michael Cooper
18.0/20 – Raymond Chan

Tasting Note: Tom thinks Pinot Gris is the white wine of Central Otago and we think the 2014 Trig Hill goes another step in reinforcing his view. Generous aromas of Central Otago apricots, gentle hay & roasted nuts; the wine has an intensely concentrated flavoursome & silky palate and a lovely linear acidity, complemented by a savoury spiciness. The wine’s elegance & structure are products of excellent fruit concentration, due to low cropping & the warmer season at the Trig Hill site in 2014.

Alcohol: 14.0%

Orchard Pinot Blanc 2015:

Tasting Note There’s not much Pinot Blanc in New Zealand let alone Marlborough, so we are chuffed to release this rare beauty. Aromas of pear, almond meal, mandarin & a hint of florality; the wine has a beautifully concentrated palate, creamy in the middle & laced with flavours of Meyer lemon & nut. Allan says “This is a gentle giant, which will develop more complex character with age”.
