Tasting Note: Moulin à Vent AOP is one of the ten designated ‘crus’ in Beaujolais, named after a monumental windmill at the top of the 278-metre elevation hill surrounded by the vineyards. ‘En Brennay’ is a lieu-dit within the appellation. Intense ruby red with a nose of macerated cherry fruits. The palate is quite powerful and full-bodied by Beaujolais standards, with iris, vivid dark fruits and exotic spices. Silky-smooth, powerful finish.
