Tasting Note: The Mâconnais, where the soils here are packed with limestone, and Chardonnay falls in love. The warmer and drier climate gives fullnes and roundness to the fruit in the wine, which is nicely balanced with a good dose of mineral, salt and freshness. Grapes are harvested by hand and fermented with natural yeast. The wine ferments and is aged in neutral barrels.
