Tasting Note: “Bright, light golden colour with some depth, lighter on the edge. The nose is softly full with good depth and density of ripe, savoury yellow stonefruits, citrus fruits and mealy elements, along with subtle nutty, leesy notes, the oaking discrete and balanced. Medium-bodied, the palate has a core of savoury yellow stonefruits with a layering of citrus fruit, and mealy and nutty elements. The mouthfeel is fresh and crisp with lacy acidity, and the wine flows along a soft, textural line with good depth and presence.. The wine carries to a gently full and lingering finish of stonefruits and nuts. This is a savoury yellow stonefruited Chardonnay with good depth and presence and a fresh, underlying mouthfeel. Match with poultry, pork and veal dishes over the next 4 years. Fruit from the ‘Ma Maison’ and a neighbouring block, WBP and barrel-fermented to 13.0% alc., the wine aged 11 months on lees in seasoned French oak barriques, with no MLF. 1,366 bottles made. ” – Raymond Chan
