“A very perfumed pinot noir with lightly dried strawberry as well as flower petals such as roses and lavender. Hints of sweet green tobacco. Medium-bodied with firm and linear tannins that run the length of the wine. Very fine and polished. Solid tannins. Very complex. Give it time to soften. Best after 2026 but a joy to taste.” – James Suckling

“Sweet red fruit and vanillin oak with rosehip, hibiscus and raspberry aromas on a very plush, perfumed sweet nose. The palate is explosively intense, lots of concentration and perfumed fruit smothered in a glassful of new oak. The oak wins out on the finish ultimately, but within this particular style, it is singular and impressive. Not an ethereal or delicately perfumed pinot noir, but one for lovers of ripe, concentrated sweet fruit and sweet oak. Drink 2023 to 2033.” – Stephen Wong MW

Tasting Note: Luscious flavours of ripe strawberries and cherries with hints of dark chocolate and pinecones. Spicy, with well-rounded, silky tannins. Cellar 8 to 15 years.
