“Such a beautiful and complex pinot with ripe strawberry aromas and hints of vanilla and toast. It has plenty of character, yet it remains vivid and focused. It’s medium- to full-bodied. Linear tannins frame it nicely and give it length and energy. Drinkable now, but better in two or three years.” – James Suckling

Tasting Note: Luscious flavours of ripe strawberries and cherries with hints of dark chocolate and pinecones. Spicy, with well-rounded, silky tannins. Ripe red fruit flavours obtain complexity from hints of savoury characters, cinnamon and Rosemary. Cellar 8 to 15 years.

Winemaking Notes: Harvested 26th March to 2nd April 2022. Marion’s Vineyard is a selection of two Pinot Noir clones; the Pommard and the Abel clone. The grapes are hand-picked and carefully selected, 100% de-stemmed, cold-macerated and fermented in stainless steel vats. Left on skins for 3 weeks; aged in 35% new and 65% used French oak barriques for 18 months.
