Amelie et Charles Sparr Pinot Noir Jardin d’Eden VO 2023

$115.00 inc. GST

Accolades:
93/100 – James Suckling

This sleek and barely medium-bodied pinot noir is crisp and well structured, with a firm tannic backbone. Very long, focused and minerally finish. Made for the long term. It may well show even better in a year or two. Very limited production from biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drinkable now, but best from 2027. – James Suckling

Tasting Note: Aromas of red berries, crushed stones, light spice, cranberry jam, smoke. Medium-bodied, concentrated yet fresh; sunny berry fruit with impressive lift. A single-vineyard selection from ‘Vogelgarten,’ in the village of Sigolsheim. Destemmed; fermented on indigenous yeasts in temperature-controlled tank. Aged 18 months in older French oak tonneaux.

Certification: Biodynamic

Alcohol: 13.0%
