Tasting Notes:
A rich and expressive Barbera with aromas of blackberry, plum and dark cherry, complemented by subtle spice and oak influence. The palate is smooth and enveloping, with generous dark fruit supported by fresh acidity and fine tannins. Balanced and approachable, finishing long with a polished, savoury edge.
Winemaking Notes:
Sourced from a 60-year-old vineyard in Diano d’Alba, planted on Guyot-trained vines at moderate density. The fruit is fermented in temperature-controlled tanks over 10–12 days to preserve varietal character and structure. The wine is then matured for around 18 months in French barriques, including a portion of new oak, building depth and complexity while maintaining balance.
