Tasting Notes: A rich and enveloping Barbera with a deep ruby-red colour. The nose is expressive, with ripe notes of blackberry, plum and jam. Smooth and generous on the palate, with an engaging texture, depth of flavour and a polished finish.
Winemaking: Produced from 100% Barbera grown in Diano d’Alba from vines around 60 years old. The grapes are harvested in mid-October and fermented in temperature-controlled tanks for 10–12 days. The wine is then aged for 18 months in French barriques, 40% of which are new, adding depth and structure while retaining the variety’s generous fruit character.
