Chene Bleu Viognier 2022

Tasting Note:
A beautifully poised expression of Viognier, shaped by Chêne Bleu’s high-altitude vineyards in the warm south of the Rhône. The estate’s marked diurnal range brings freshness and precision to a variety that can so easily tip into excess, resulting here in a wine of lifted floral aromatics, gentle honeyed notes and a softly rounded, voluptuous texture. Elegant yet expressive, it offers a subtle nod to the great Viogniers of the Northern Rhône. A lovely aperitif wine, and equally well suited to poultry, foie gras, white fish in cream-based sauces, ceviche, seafood tartare or blue cheese. Best served slightly chilled at around 14°C.
