Choosing Chêne Bleu wines
Aliot, Astralabe Blanc and Viognier
Aliot 2017 and Aliot 2018 are Roussanne-led whites, with layered white-fruit, toasted and brioche notes described on their bottle pages. Compare each vintage’s own blend and maturation details. Astralabe Blanc 2022 is Grenache Blanc-led, with Rolle, Clairette, Roussanne and Viognier also listed. It offers a useful comparison within our white blends collection.
The Viognier 2021 and Viognier 2022 listings describe floral aromas, honeyed notes, rounded texture and freshness. Their suggested food matches include poultry, seafood and white fish with creamy sauces. Read the exact bottle notes when matching a wine to your meal; our wider white wine range offers more choices.
Héloïse and Abélard reds
Héloïse 2015 is Syrah-led with Grenache and a small Roussanne component, while Abélard 2013 is Grenache-led with Syrah. These provide two contrasting starting points for exploring Syrah and Shiraz and Grenache. Compare the vintage, tasting notes and serving guidance rather than assuming the two cuvées share the same blend.
The individual listings include organic and biodynamic information. Check the exact bottle’s details when that matters to your choice, and explore our organic wine and biodynamic wine collections for related selections. Ask the team for current drinking advice on older releases.
