Tasting Note: Moulin à Vent AOP is one of the ten designated ‘crus’ in Beaujolais, named after a monumental windmill at the top of the 278-metre elevation hill surrounded by the vineyards. This example showcases a fresh, subtly red-fruited nose. On the palate it is lively and fresh, delicate and elegant with dense red fruits and extremely fine tannins. With some bottle age it will develop more spicy nuances and hints of truffle.
