“‘Zailleux, Beaudure, Barbettes and Chenêts’ are the rustic names for the 4 sunny Oger plots of Chardonnay, which pulled through a complicated vintage. Still timid, the nose reveals an incipient complexity: grilled and roasted scents with brioche, combined with mineral, minty and smoky notes. The lively entry opens onto a generous and long palate, marked on the finish by the freshness of orange.” – Hachette Wine Guide 2021

Tasting Note: “Elegant and harmonious. This mouthfilling and delicate champagne of the 2017 harvest is blended from a rigorous selection from Chardonnay vineyards in the Grand Cru village of Oger. The Zailleux, Beaudures, Barbettes, Chenêts sites receive the benefit of maximum sunshine in our village. Then during the long ageing in our cellar, the aromas of cristalized fruits and exotic fruits develop with a superb freshness and wonderful silky and long finish revealing all the elegance of our Chardonnay. As an aperitif, you will be seduced by the elegance and length of this exceptional cuvée, with its very fine bubbles kissing the palate.” – Winemaker’s Notes
