Pōkeno Discovery is a New Zealand single malt built around the meeting of bourbon and sherry casks. Whiskies fully matured in first-fill bourbon, Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez casks are selected, blended and returned to cask to marry.
Dark chocolate, ripe cherry and sweet citrus give Discovery a rich, rounded profile, followed by a smooth, lingering finish. Bottled at 43% in a 700ml format, it shows a generous side of Pōkeno’s Waikato distillery.
