Tasting Note: “During my time at Robert Weil in 2017, I worked with Johanna Friedrich and we built a great bond over Riesling and Pinot Gris. She took me to Baden in Germany, where she first worked in wine, and we went on a lot of memorable tastings. One that stuck out to me the most was a small winery that focused on riper-style, barrel-fermented Gris. So in 2019, the first year I purchased Pinot Gris fruit, Johanna and her husband came to help me during vintage, and this wine was born. It’s really special when connection and wine inspiration can come to fruition.” – Sierra Reed
