Reed White Heart Riesling 2023

Tasting Note: “This is the first year I have stepped out of Geelong to find Riesling fruit. It seems to be that Riesling is a hard grape to come by these days, especially in my home GI. Until I can grow a large enough crop of my own in Torquay, I have decided to venture out to the granitic climbs of Mount Alexander. The weather definitely threw some challenges my way, but this Riesling was a great example of what lower alcohol and high acidity in a cool vintage can embody. Think bright citrus, minerality and boniness, with a familiar cuddle. Riesling is my language and although I can’t wait to fully celebrate it in my backyard, this wine has given me the opportunity to grow as a producer of the variety in Victoria.” – Sierra Reed

Winemaking Notes: 11 g/l residual sugar, handpicked, wild yeast. On lees for 6 months, agree predominantly in stainless steel. 3,312 litres total production.
