Accolades:

95/100 – James Suckling

“Blueberry, boysenberry and soaring violet are trimmed in measured lines of coffee, cocoa, cinnamon and pepper. A generously concentrated, intense and young pinot noir with lashings of vanilla cream and cinnamon sugar across the fruit, yet also compact and densely flavoured. The tannins are well submerged, rising on the finish in peppery spice and fine-grained cocoa powder. This can be approached now by virtue of its sleekness and balance but there is a powerful core of primary fruit here which will benefit from a few years in the cellar to reveal its true potential.” – Stephen Wong MW

“Aromas of dried cherries, baking spices and cedar follow through to a medium body with firm and refined tannins and a long and caressing finish. The wine shows finesse with richness and fantastic length. Best ever. Drink or hold.” – James Suckling

Tasting Note: Beautifully fragrant and inviting, the bouquet unfolds with aromas of ripe plum and cherry. Beneath the fruit lies a complex layering of tobacco, cacao, and hints of Christmas spice. Clove, cinnamon, and a whisper of nutmeg. The palate is soft and velvety, delivering a seamless texture. Dark fruit blends effortlessly with savoury undertones and a rich, dessert-like note reminiscent of Black Forest Gateau. Subtle acidity lifts the wine just enough to maintain balance, giving a fresh counterpoint to its plush, rounded character.
