Tasting Note: Chardonnay Imperiale grows in the plane of Ruppertsberg and is a selection of the best grapes and ferments in barrels in comparison to “Royale”. The wine is concentrated and firm with noble reduction and finesse à la Mersault, but has the juicy aromas of Californian Chardonnays of cooler vintages.
