Alario Claudio Nebbiolo d’Alba Cascinotto 2023

Tasting Notes: A refined and characterful Nebbiolo with a ruby-red colour and subtle garnet highlights. The nose is expressive and perfumed, with lifted floral notes and ripe forest fruits. Delicate yet structured on the palate, with harmonious tannins, generous depth and a long, elegant finish.

Winemaking: Produced from 100% Nebbiolo grown in the Cascinotto vineyard in Diano d’Alba. The vines are around 40 years old, and the wine is vinified in temperature-controlled fermentation tanks for 15 days before ageing for 18 months in French barriques, 40% of which are new. The result is a mature, structured Nebbiolo inspired by the techniques used for the estate’s Barolo wines.
