“The 2022 Rosé Vaucluse is pale pink with orange hues in the glass. The bouquet slowly forms, showing savory herbs, crushed stone and tomato leaf. Further coaxing brings forward young peach and lemon oils. This envelops the palate with ripe pit fruits and sweet spice hints. A crunchy sensation appears as saline minerals collect toward the close. The 2022 finishes perfumed and light on its feet. Ripe melon notes bring the taster back to the glass.” – Vinous
“This beautiful property at the foothills of Mont Ventoux was once a medieval glass blowing workshop named La Verriére. It was acquired by Xavier and Nicole Rolet in 1993 and together they began restoring the estate and started producing Chêne Bleu rosé. This pale pink colored wine is allowed skin contact at pressing for 90 minutes and then undergoes cold fermentation in 75 percent stainless steel and 25 percent French oak barrels for five weeks. It has aromas of red raspberry and lime zest with flavors of white flowers, pink grapefruit peel, and red plum. The finish is rounded with a refreshing burst of acidity in the post palate. “ – Robb Report
Tasting Note: 88% Grenache, 10% Mourvèdre, 2% Grenache Blanc. Le Rosé is produced with the utmost respect for both the environment and the consumer. Old-vine Grenache blended Mourvèdre and Grenache Blanc are gently pressed, fermented for 3 weeks at low temperatures, then fined using organic green pea powder, making this a vegan-friendly wine for the 21st century. Its rich texture and complexity, long finish and ageability make this a rosé that is designed to pair with food all throughout the year.
