Tasting Note: Morgon AOP is the largest of the ten designated ‘crus’ in Beaujolais, overlooked by Mont du Py. ‘Les Charmes’ is a single plateau within the commune characterised by granite soils. Loam and spice on the nose with hints of earthiness. Spice, white pepper and wet earth on the palate, with cassis and strawberry notes through a concentrated, generous finish.
