Mirae Amphora Pinot Noir 2025

Tasting Note: A distinctive and exceptionally limited expression of Pinot Noir from James and Marie Suckling’s Mirae vineyard in Martinborough. Drawn from rare ungrafted vines predominantly planted in 1986, the wine combines fragrant red fruit, fine savoury detail and a supple, textural palate. Fermentation and maturation in terracotta amphorae place purity, freshness and vineyard character at the centre.

Winemaking: The fruit was destemmed and spontaneously fermented with indigenous yeasts in terracotta amphora. The wine was then matured in Artenova and Tava amphorae, without oak influence, to retain aromatic clarity, delicate structure and purity of fruit.
