Tasting Notes:
A mature and expressive Pinot Noir showing aromas of dried cherry, cranberry and plum, layered with notes of forest floor, mushroom and subtle spice. The palate is finely textured and savoury, with red and dark berry fruit supported by silky tannins and bright acidity. Complex and evolving, with tertiary characters emerging through a long, elegant finish.
Winemaking Notes:
Le Char represents Mon Cheval’s top-tier Pinot Noir, produced only in the strongest vintages from selected vineyard parcels. The wine is crafted with a focus on structure and longevity, including partial whole bunch fermentation to enhance aromatic complexity. Matured in French oak prior to release, building depth while maintaining balance and finesse.
