Tasting Notes:
An elegant and expressive Pinot Noir with aromas of red cherry, raspberry and plum, layered with subtle spice, dried herbs and earthy undertones. The palate is finely textured, showing bright red berry fruit supported by silky tannins and fresh acidity. Balanced and poised, with savoury complexity beginning to emerge through a long, refined finish.
Winemaking Notes:
Le Char is sourced from select vineyard parcels and produced only in the strongest vintages. A gentle, considered approach is taken in the winery, with some whole bunch inclusion bringing aromatic lift and complexity. Maturation in French oak builds structure and depth while maintaining purity and balance.
