Tasting Note: “This is the vineyard with which I’ve had the longest working relationship. Each year it expresses itself differently and this vintage is the most structured fruit I’ve ever worked with. Being a winemaker that tends to craft elegant Shiraz, this year took more layering and technique. Coming from a cool climate, I think this wine should always have lift, perfume and a brambly nature. In some years, it is easier to achieve than others. I always talk about the importance of balance in all my wines, and it’s something you can’t force or truly measure because ‘balance’ is meeting all of the elements and weaving them to create a tapestry from that moment.” – Sierra Reed
