“Stylish and complex, the elegantly lifted bouquet shows nectarine, crunchy apple, dried herb and baguette nuances with a hint of flinty overtone. The palate displays excellent weight and finely textured mouthfeel, wonderfully framed by firm acidity, finishing superbly long and engaging. Certified organic. At its best: now to 2033.” – Sam Kim
“A lovely bouquet and palate with a core of varietal elegance and richness from ripe fruits of lemon and grapefruit then apple and a quiet seam of pineapple and sage. Crisp and dry, lighter weighted as the wine touches the palate, a layer of lees work adds texture, depth and complexity. Well made with a lengthy finish. Best drinking from late 2024 through 2028.” – Cameron Douglas MS
“A brooding, layered, complex nose with chestnut, cream, smoky wood spice, and honeydew melon. Vetiver emerges alongside fennel seed and celery on the palate with strong savoury undertones. It enters mid-weight before the saline acidity tapers the whole thing down to a piercing point of gooseberry on the long, dry finish. Interestingly complex with chalky texture and remarkable freshness – this subtle oak-aged sauvignon will easily cellar for a year or two.” – Stephen Wong MW
Tasting Note: A beautiful balance of pink grapefruit, tropical papaya, and pineapple with freshly picked basil, nettle, and wet stone aromas. A vibrant structure of acidity interlaced with enticing citrus notes and lees influenced cashew-spiced characters.
Winemaking Notes: Hand-picked and whole bunch pressed from our Avenue Block, predominately Clone 316. After settling the juice overnight, we racked to a large oak cuvee where an indigenous fermentation occurred. The wine was aged on lees in large format seasoned French oak for texture and complexity. Racked after 10 months and lightly filtered before bottling.
