Valli Hogan Gibbston Pinot Noir 2024
$85.00 inc. GST
Tasting Note: “This special cuvee comes from the tiny Twilight Vineyard located at approximately 450 meters above sea level in Gibbston. It celebrates the accomplishments of Hogan, New Zealand’s first ovarian cancer medical detection dog. We are proud to donate proceeds of this wine to K9MD, an Otago charity that trains Hogan and other clever dogs for the early detection of cancer. “Hogan” Pinot Noir beautifully captures the exquisite perfume, finesse, and elegance of Central Otago’s coolest sub-region. It has dazzling aromas of lilac, rose petals, mulberry, red cherry, and plum with sandalwood and baking spice. The intricate palate has layers of red fruit and spice; with the fine tannins dancing in harmony with the bright acidity. A unique wine that is best enjoyed with a special meal and great company over the next 20+ years.” – Jen Parr
