“A slew of blueberries makes this full-bodied, bright and moderately tannic red easy to enjoy right now. Should be good through 2020.” – James Suckling

“Elegant and appealing Spanish red with red berry, violet and spice flavours. Fresh and delicately succulent wine that starts with a burst of fruit sweetness and ends with a pleasantly drying finish.” – Bob Campbell MW

“Dark, deep, purple-hued ruby-red colour, lighter on the rim and youthful in appearance. The nose is firmly concentrated with fragrant and aromatic dark raspberry fruit along with boysenberry notes and whole berry fermentation jam, confectionary and red floral notes. The fruit is primary and vibrant. Medium-full bodied, the palate is gently mouthfilling with sweet and juicy, ripe and luscious flavours of raspberries and subtle notes of boysenberries entwined with jam, floral and confectionary elements. The fruit is underlined by supple tannin extraction and soft, integrated acidity providing a fine-textured mouthfeel and line. The tannins grow in presence and carry the wine to a dry, textural finish with lifted red fruits, jam and floral nuances.” – Raymond Chan

Tasting Note: Made from Tempranillo grapes, native from Rioja located in the north of Spain. 6 months fermentation in old French oak. This is a well-balanced wine, driven by red fruit with spicy and earthy notes on the nose. Ripe tannins, savoury and mineral hints with a pleasant cocoa finish.
