“Deep and spicy with toasted walnuts, exotic fruit and strawberry jam. Fine mousse. Light- to medium-bodied, it shows crisp acidity with polished phenolics. Drink now.” – James Suckling
“Bright rose-gold colour; lightly toasty aroma with a trace of Vegemite, smoky pinot, becoming increasingly honeyed as it warmed in the glass. The palate is full and rounded, soft textured and dry but not tart: a zero dosage wine without strong acidity. There is richness and depth, a very smart and nicely balanced blanc de noir.” – Huon Hooke, The Real Review
Tasting Note: A cuvée with a brilliant gold color. On the nose, daffodils, iris and wisps of sponge cake. When swirled, this wine opens with sweet notes. Lively, full-bodied and fresh on the palate, followed by lovely tangy flavors of squeezed citrus fruit. This is followed by sweet, spicy flavors of cinnamon and vanilla with hints of citrus. Enjoy as an aperitif with inventive appetizers, or at the start of a meal with light, refined dishes such as sea bass carpaccio or sea bream ceviche.
