Tasting Note: Intense red berries and spice dominate this wine; a good lick of oak adds to the power and length and deliciously drinkable tannins mean you just want more! It inhabits a goldilocks zone between the savory, pepperiness of Syrah and the sweet spiciness of shiraz.
Winemaking Notes: Sourced from the fantastic Malakoff Vineyard in the Pyrenees we fermented this shiraz with the Que Syrah Syrah. Post fermentation the wine was pressed into 100% new French oak barrels where it aged for 12 months before being bottled.
