Mirae Clayvin Chardonnay 2025

Tasting Note: A highly limited, one-off Chardonnay from Marlborough’s renowned Clayvin Vineyard, made as part of James and Marie Suckling’s Mirae project. The wine combines the purity and precision of glass Wineglobe maturation with the texture and complexity of barrel fermentation. The result is a refined, site-driven Chardonnay that balances fruit clarity, freshness and subtle oak influence.

Winemaking: A portion of the wine was made in glass Wineglobes, with the balance barrel-fermented and matured in two-year-old oak barrels. This combination preserves freshness and aromatic definition while adding texture, depth and restrained complexity.
