Schubert Con Brio 2020

Tasting Note: A deeply concentrated red with aromas of ripe blackberry, blackcurrant, raspberry and cherry, layered with liquorice, clove, black pepper, vanilla and sandalwood. The palate combines vibrant acidity with soft, lingering tannins and well-integrated oak, finishing long and complex.

Winemaking Notes: Con Brio, meaning “with passion”, is a blend of Merlot, Syrah and Pinot Noir. The grapes were hand-picked, fully destemmed and fermented separately in stainless-steel vats. Following three weeks of maceration, the wine was matured for four years in French oak barriques, 15% new and 85% seasoned.
