Muscat

Explore Muscat and Moscatel wines and blends at Great Little Vineyards. The current selection brings together Spanish whites from Jumilla and an Alsace blend from France. Several listings describe a dry finish, so compare each bottle’s sweetness and grape details rather than assuming every Muscat-related wine is sweet.

Choosing Muscat and Moscatel wines

A dry Moscatel starting point. Juan Gil Dry Moscatel 2020 is listed as Moscatel, also identified as Muscat in its grape information. Its notes describe melon, peach, jasmine and a light, refreshing palate. The vineyards lie north of Jumilla in the valley of La Aragona. Compare two Jumilla blends. El Goru Blanco 2023 brings Moscatel together with Chardonnay, with floral aromas and a dry finish described in its notes. Four Elements Yeya 2023 also combines Chardonnay and Moscatel, offering citrus, tropical-fruit and creamy characters. Both sit within the Finca Bacara and Egobodegas range. Check their individual notes rather than treating the shared grape combination as an identical style.

Muscat alongside Riesling and Pinot Blanc. From Alsace, Sparr Cerisier En Fleurs 2023 combines those three varieties. Its notes describe stainless-steel fermentation, freshness, a floral contribution from Muscat and less than 2g/L residual sugar. Compare it with the Spanish bottles for a different blend and region, then explore our white blends and Aromatics collections. Each product page provides the current vintage and available bottle details.
