Abélard and Héloïse’s true and timeless love story symbolises enduring Love. Nicole Rolet, Principal of Chêne Bleu Wines, says: “I first got the idea for a show-stopping display box about 8 years ago. I wanted to explain the story of our two flagship wines, Abélard & Héloïse, named after the famed medieval French lovers – the Romeo and Juliet of France. I wanted to showcase them as the protagonists at the heart of the story of our little vineyard through a unique piece of design. But it ended up taking another 8 YEARS to produce this limited-edition Gift Box, and I’m SO HAPPY that it’s finally seeing the light!”
The handcrafted pop-up gift box is delivered flat-pack with the two wines corresponding to the characters of Abélard and Héloïse. It also comes with its own jute bag to protect the delicate external design.

The gift set can be made up and personalised on request, however personalised sets must be picked up from our store in Orakei Bay Village; we can only courier the gift set as flat-pack. Please either leave an instruction note on your online order, or call or email us to arrange.
The set can be purchased with either 2 bottles or 3 bottles, select your preference before purchasing – slots for both configurations are provided in the flat-pack.
